Mech fuel types

Checked 2026-11-05 ยท Lightyear Frontier 1.0

Since the Automation Update on 5 March 2026, the mech moves with no fuel in the tank. Fuel is what enables mod chips, raises tool speed, and allows thruster boosting. If a guide tells you the mech is stranded until you craft oil, it is older than that update. 1.0's Eco Driving buff cuts fuel use by 20 percent and does not bring the empty-tank stall back.

Burn values below are the wiki's 0.8 figures after the game data was halved. 1.0 did not republish the table, so a dash would be wrong and a silent copy would also be wrong. The label is the point. Refillite 1, plant oil 1, polyberry oil 2, rabbage oil 3, caroot oil 3, chromaize oil 4, zappertwig oil 4, honeybottle oil 5, lumbloom oil 5, coilvine oil 6, rabberry oil 8, chromoot oil 11, lumtwig oil 15, honeyvine oil 20.

The higher oils are mixed in a fuel maker. Chromoot is caroot oil plus chromaize oil plus refillite. Lumtwig is zappertwig oil plus lumbloom oil plus refillite. Honeyvine is honeybottle oil plus coilvine oil plus refillite. Rabberry is rabbage oil plus polyberry oil. The wiki gave points, not a stopwatch.
