Privacy policy
Checked 2026-11-05 ยท Lightyear Frontier 1.0
This policy describes the build that shipped on 5 November 2026. The pages load Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra on the first visit, without waiting for a click. The cookie banner is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a gate: Reject turns those scripts and their storage off and remembers that choice for 180 days. Accept keeps them on. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner at any time.
What loads, and who runs it
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, measurement ID G-3ZLZBR3PEP) counts page views and records the page URL, referrer, approximate location derived from the IP address, device and browser type, and interactions such as scroll and outbound clicks. It runs from www.googletagmanager.com and reports to www.google-analytics.com (and regional Google Analytics collection endpoints).
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, project z8pxifajxn) records session replays, heatmaps and click data. Replay masking follows the project and service settings; do not enter private information into this guide. Its tag loads from www.clarity.ms, downloads its recording code from scripts.clarity.ms, and reports to collection subdomains of clarity.ms.
Adsterra (Adsterra Network, publisher ID 3403020) serves two units on this site: Native Banner NativeBanner_1 (unit 32101601) inside the page, and Social Bar SocialBar_1 (unit 32101602), the floating bar at the bottom. Both come from bicea.org. Adsterra and its demand partners may set cookies or read device signals to cap frequency, measure impressions, prevent fraud and, where permitted, personalise ads. Adult ads are switched off for this site.
YouTube (Google LLC) hosts the trailer. The page shows a still image; pressing Play creates a youtube.com/embed frame, and from that point Google may set its own cookies and see your IP address. Nothing is requested from YouTube before that click.
A fresh local-build browser measurement on 5 November 2026 observed Google Tag Manager (the GA library), Google Analytics, Clarity tag / script / collector hosts and bicea.org before any click. Reject disables those services on the reloaded page. No YouTube request or visible iframe was present before Play.
No other third-party script runs here. Fonts and images are files on this site. There is no comment system, no chat widget and no tag manager container.
Cookies and local storage
This site writes two local-storage keys itself, both with a 180-day expiry. lyf-consent stores your banner choice (granted or denied) so the banner does not ask again. lyf-ad-float-closed stores the fact that you used the Hide ads button on the Social Bar, so the bar stays closed on later visits. Neither key is sent to a server.
Google Analytics 4 writes _ga and _ga_3ZLZBR3PEP, both with a two-year lifetime, to tell returning browsers apart. Event data is retained under the Analytics property settings; this guide does not claim a verified property retention setting.
Microsoft Clarity writes _clck (about one year) and _clsk (about one day). Retention depends on the Clarity service and project settings; see its privacy statement in Sources.
Adsterra sets its own cookies from bicea.org and from creative or demand-partner domains. Their names and lifetimes are chosen by the network and can change; a fixed duration has not been established for this build. I do not set those cookies and cannot list a fixed name for each one. The banner's Reject button stops the Adsterra tags from loading and removes the units already on the page.
Why I process this data
Analytics measure use of this guide; ads support the site; Clarity helps identify navigation problems. This implementation loads those services by default when no refusal is stored. Pressing Reject saves a refusal and reloads the page without their tags. You can change this setting at any time through Cookie settings. Processing already completed before rejection cannot be undone by removing a tag.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, the site records a denial and does not load Clarity or Adsterra. Do Not Track is not used as a signal by the third parties above, so the banner is the reliable control.
Personalised advertising and opting out
Adsterra may personalise ads where local rules allow it. You can object through the network's own controls and through industry tools: Google Ads Settings, the DAA opt-out, Your Online Choices (EU), and AdChoices Canada. These tools do not remove ads; they limit personalised targeting by participating companies.
Retention and your rights
The two local keys expire after 180 days; expired values are ignored, although the browser may retain the stored text until it is overwritten or cleared. GA4 and Clarity data stay under their service and project retention settings; Adsterra keeps its own data under its policy. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection by writing to [email protected]. I hold no account for you and no server-side profile, so most requests resolve by clearing the keys and cookies in your browser. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
If a script is added, removed or replaced, I will name it here, say what it writes and move the date at the top of this page before the change ships. The measurement ID, Clarity project ID and Adsterra publisher ID above are the live values in the page source.
Questions
Do you use cookies?
Yes. Google Analytics 4 writes _ga and _ga_3ZLZBR3PEP; Microsoft Clarity writes _clck and _clsk; Adsterra sets its own cookies from bicea.org. The site also stores lyf-consent and lyf-ad-float-closed in local storage for 180 days.
Is analytics running?
Yes. Google Analytics 4 (G-3ZLZBR3PEP) and Microsoft Clarity (project z8pxifajxn) load on the first visit. Press Reject to stop them and record a denial for 180 days.
How do I withdraw?
Use Cookie settings in the footer and press Reject, and the page reloads without analytics or ad tags. Deleting the choice instead restores the default loading behavior. Reject also removes the Adsterra units that are already on the page.
Are the ads personalised?
Adsterra may personalise where local rules allow it. Use Google Ads Settings, the DAA opt-out or Your Online Choices to limit targeting by participating companies. Adult ads are off on this site.
