Where to buy Lightyear Frontier

Buy Lightyear Frontier on Steam for Windows PC or the Xbox Store for Xbox Series X|S. Existing early-access owners receive 1.0 as an update to their copy.

Price on 5 November 2026

The official FAQ prints $29.99, €29.99, and £23.49. The Steam US listing I read the next day was discounted 20 percent, to $23.99. I keep both numbers. The discount is a reading of that day, not a promise that the cart will still say $23.99 next week. Xbox's current price was not in the pages I could read, so

If you already own the early-access copy, 1.0 is a free update. You do not buy the game a second time. That is the FAQ and the launch post, not a coupon.

Which stores

Steam has the Windows build. The store page does not list macOS or Linux. Xbox Series X and Series S have a build. Xbox One does not, according to the platforms the official posts name. Game Pass stopped including the game on 15 March 2026. The Xbox store still sells it.

Epic has a product page. A Game*Spark report on 5 November 2026 said that page still showed a coming-soon state. GOG has no listing I could confirm. GeForce Now is not in the sources

Pioneer's Bundle and the soundtrack

Pioneer's Bundle was a Steam DLC during early access: an alternate mech skin, an alternate homestead tent, and extra decorations including a telescope, a map table, and a folding chair. The store text said the pack would only be available during early access. On 5 November 2026 the Steam page I checked had no package for it.

The soundtrack is a separate Steam app, priced at $3.99, released 19 March 2024. That is a different purchase from the game.
