Available on Steam for Windows and Xbox Series X|S. PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 are not announced. The Epic launch status is listed separately with its dated source on the platforms page.
What this guide covers
Lightyear Frontier left early access on 4 November 2026. The early-access build opened on 19 March 2024. Owners of the early-access copy move to 1.0 without paying again. I keep those two dates apart because search results still mix them up.
There is no browser build I can embed. The hero picture goes to the buy page, which lists Steam and the Xbox store and leaves grey-market key shops out.

Cross-checked 5 November 2026 · 1.0. The official 1.0 FAQ and the independent Steam store listing give the release date and available PC edition. The FAQ lists $29.99 as the US list price; Steam displayed $23.99 on the check date. See platform status for sources covering each console and service.
