Country Roads, 17 November 2025

Checked 2026-11-05 · Lightyear Frontier 1.0

Country Roads launched on 17 November 2025 without a version number in the title. The systems from this update are still in 1.0, with later edits called out on the trailer and extractor pages.

Mech hauling lets you pick up, carry, and throw large objects such as logs and rock chunks. Roads and bridges speed the mech and a trailer and lower fuel use. Trailers, a storage trailer and a large-object trailer, are made at the fabricator platform, hitch to the mech, and can daisy-chain. The mineral extractor sits beside a large vein and adds ore each day. An oil mixer, mineral crusher, and sawmill arrived, plus Drone Station II watering four plots at once, and tier II furnace, grinder, and oil presser with five times the input and output. Milestone 11 was added. The farm center build cap went up by one. Small tin and iron deposits appeared. Small deposits had a 50 percent chance to drop one extra ore. Coal drop rates and costs were tripled. The pre-update Steam beta branch closed within days.

1.0 later touched trailer stability, map markers, and retrieval. Follow the link to the trailer page for the newer lines, and remember Lola retrieves trailers and caches, which is a 1.0 sentence.
