Furnace

Checked 2026-11-05 · Lightyear Frontier 1.0

The Furnace converts gathered ingredients into processed materials. Its job extends beyond silver: the older entry includes bars, glass, lenses, and light bulbs. The Clay discovery condition and construction cost describe the historical base machine, while later tiers change its automation connections. Input and output ports matter when designing a line: a machine that accepts ingredients through a pipe does not automatically have the output capability listed for a higher tier. Version 1.0 adds Furnace III and changes construct progression, so a legacy Milestone 4 label is not a complete current unlock table. Follow the actual ingredient chain for the material you need rather than treating every ore as the same smelting recipe.
