Connector Pipe / Automation Pipe
Checked 2026-11-05 · Lightyear Frontier 1.0
Connector Pipe is the older transport component used to link building outputs and inputs. A splitter is relevant when one output should serve multiple destinations; a merger is relevant when several sources should feed a common destination. Those are different connection problems. The 1.0 announcement explicitly replaces the Automator with Automation Pipes, which can pull from storage. It does not say that every older connector is the same item under a new name. For a stalled extractor route, identify its destination first: sending ore to storage and sending ingredients to an auto-crafting Furnace need different destination settings. Resource filters introduced in 1.0 can reject an item even when the physical pipe route looks complete.
